Nov. 12, 2023:
Biomolecular NMR Post-Doctoral Positions in Lewis Kay Lab, University of Toronto
One or two post-doctoral positions are available for candidates with a PhD degree in biomolecular NMR spectroscopy and an interest in either NMR methods development and/or solution NMR applications to important biological molecules. The successful candidates will focus on solution NMR studies of supra-molecular complexes, most likely in combination with cryo-EM data that we obtain, and/or conformationally excited states of proteins. Additional applications in the laboratory focus on understanding the molecular determinants of phase separation using NMR spectroscopy. The overarching goal of the laboratory is to illustrate the critical role of molecular dynamics in regulating biological processes. Applicants with interests in either methodology or application can apply and candidates who may not be finished for 1 year (or even longer) are also encouraged to apply. Interested candidates should submit a CV and cover letter to:
Lewis E. Kay (lewis.kay@utoronto.ca)
Please note that a detailed knowledge of NMR is not required, just a willingness to learn.
